A Happy Picture Book

Cicadas began to stridulate all at once in Japan. I was on foot hurry to get to a promised place on a sultry road paved with asphalt. It was very muggy day, today. On my way from there, it was suddenly a thunder cloud and a pelting rain. I held up at the station and seek shelter from the rain. I have no umbrella with me at that time, so that I hopped on the timely bus, trembling the lightning stoke, and get off at the nearest bus stop, and then ran like the wind to the front door of my home. The next thing I knew was that the evening shower had stopped, and felt a cool and brisk breeze. It was a welcome summer rain. I wish I also felt pleasantly refreshed tomorrow. ＜恵みの雨＞

蝉が一斉に鳴きだし灼熱のアスファルトを歩き約束の場所へ。今日も蒸し暑かったです。帰り道、気づけばいきなり雷雲とたたきつけるような雨。駅で足止めを食らい、雨宿りをしました。傘の持ち合わせもなく、落雷に驚きながら、バスに乗り、家の近所のバス停から、玄関まで疾走しました。気がつけば、夕立は上がり、ひんやりとしたさわやかな風が。夏の恵み。明日もさわやかな一日でありますように。(いつもご覧いただき誠にありがとうございます。)
